The Presidency has announced that a special session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will be held on Thursday in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Presidential Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the session will be presided over by President Bola Tinubu, who will lead tributes to the late leader.
In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, Onanuga said the event is part of nationwide activities to honour the memory and legacy of Buhari, who passed away earlier this week.
The special FEC session is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
