Kwara Chief of Staff, Mahe Dies

 

 

 

The Kwara State Government has announced the passing of its Chief of Staff, Prince AbdulKadir Mahe.

Prince Mahe passed away this morning, December 28, 2024, in accordance with the will of Allah.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Saturday in Ilorin.

“In total submission to the will of Allah, we regret to announce the passing of the Chief of Staff to His Excellency, Prince AbdulKadir Mahe,” the statement read.

The late Chief of Staff will be buried today at his residence on Moro Street, Adewole Estate, Ilorin, following the Asr prayer.

“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Prince AbdulKadir Mahe, describing him as a perfect gentleman, a community leader, an urbane public servant, and a statesman.

“The Governor extended his condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari; the immediate family of Prince AbdulKadir; government institutions; and members of the state cabinet.”

“We ask for the understanding of everyone during this mournful period as the government and family grieve the loss of a quintessential public servant.

“We pray that Allah accepts his return, eases his accounts, admits him into Al-Jannah Firdaus, and grants his family fortitude to bear this loss,” the statement added.
