An abandoned two-year-old boy (identity unknown) has been found at a dumpsite in the Iganmu area of Lagos State.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a post shared on his X.com handle on Tuesday.
He said that the baby was found on Monday night.
According to Hundeyin, the boy was taken to a police station after being found at the Sari Iganmu dumpsite, and the police are now seeking public assistance in locating the boy’s family.
“Found child: This boy of about two years old was found last night at the Sari Iganmu dump site by a Good Samaritan and brought to the station. Kindly share to enable him to reunite with his family,” the police spokesperson stated on Tuesday.
