Critical National Information Infrastructure Executive Order Will Help Networks Recover Quickly From Incidents – NCC Boss

 

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, has said the Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) Executive Order emphasised resilience, saying it is a principle that will ensure Nigeria’s networks could recover quickly from incidents.

Maida said this at the Opening Session of the Critical National Information infrastructure (CNII) protection and Resilience Workshop Series for policy makers and sector regulators, organised by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCCC), office of the National Security Adviser. (28th October, 2024)

He stated that the Order would make networks maintain the trust of the public and businesses that rely on the country’s information infrastructure daily.

“The Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) Executive Order emphasizes resilience—a principle that will ensure our networks can recover quickly from incidents, maintaining the trust of the public and businesses that rely on our infrastructure daily”, said Maida.
