Politics, according to Karl Marx, is the relation and conflict among classes. Marx further believed that every society emerges in a struggle between classes in any society. Another political philosopher, Harold Lasswell conceptualised Politics as who gets what, when and how. That is, it is about who holds power or control the scare resources of any society at a given period of time.
The political beliefs of these two renowned philosophers are applicable to the happenings in the political space of Alimosho federal constituency.
It is noteworthy that Alimosho intra-party struggle does not start now but then, the games are played with utmost maturity and respect for individual and various political groups within the constituency and Lagos State at large.
The current political situation in Alimosho call for critical review by all stakeholders. Who are these people struggling for desperate power? Why are those who benefited from a process or system kicking against the same process they largely benefitted from? Can everyone emerges as political representatives at the same time?
Sincerely, it amazed me and remains laughable to see many who have benefitted immensely in this political system turned against the same system, calling their political associates unprinted names simply because they are asked to allow another person(s) or other constituency benefit from the system. To me, that is selfishness. Oh My God! can someone please, tell me ENILOLOBO’S offense in all these scenarios?
It is also surprising to see those who joined the political party recently fighting dirty to become Local Government Areas Chairman, House of Assembly and Federal House of Representatives candidates because of their money bags and the selfish leaders deceiving them.
Alimosho political space is the most united and formidable system in Lagos State. We should not allow any acclaimed leader of a low self-esteem distract us on the journey to electoral success that we are known for.
Enough of these obscene and dirty game. Let’s restrategize and think beyond political offices. Let’s engage ourselves on personal businesses and take politics as a part-time profession.
The game is over, our state party Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi has spoken, let’s join hands together give respect to whom it is due and work for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections, comes 2023.
Let’s bury the hatchet, rebuild our home and allow peaceful coexistence of all and sundry within our constituency and across the state.

Femi Adebanjo, Hon. Bisi Yusuf, Hon. Adedeji, Hon. Kehinde Joseph and other political leaders in Alimosho to a roundtable discussion and reach a concrete agreement for a united constituency.
History will surely tell of your impacts, correct the errors of the past and proffer rightful solutions now because you don’t know what tomorrow have in stock for you.
The time is now, peace must reign and Alimosho must reunite again.
