Aiyedatiwa Pledges Continued Loyalty to Tinubu, APC as TSG Confers Grand Patron Title

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has been decorated as the Grand Patron of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in recognition of his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration’s developmental achievements across the state.

The investiture, held at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, Akure, formed part of the TSG’s visit to inaugurate its Ondo State executives and strengthen grassroots mobilisation for President Tinubu’s agenda.

Leading the delegation, the National Director General of the Tinubu Support Group, Alhaji Umaru Tanko Yakassai,  who represented the group’s National Convener, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, said the honour was a tribute to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s exemplary leadership and commitment to progressive governance, commending the governor for the strides recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.

He noted that the Tinubu Support Group, founded in 2020, has established its presence across all states to mobilise grassroots support for President Tinubu, adding that Ondo State remains a model of political stability and loyalty within the APC structure.

In his response, Aiyedatiwa thanked the group for the recognition, describing it as an encouragement to sustain his administration’s developmental drive and deepen collaboration with the President.

He reaffirmed his commitment to continue supporting President Tinubu’s administration, stressing that Ondo State would remain a stronghold of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We have built a solid foundation as a party and as a government. During the 2024 governorship election, we won across all 18 local government areas with 366,781 votes — a record in the history of our state. That victory was not by accident; it was the product of unity, hard work, and shared belief in the APC vision,” he said.
