The Social Democratic Party (SDP) will on Tuesday unveil its presidential blueprint, Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity: Governance & Accelerated Development- Blueprint of a New Nigeria, 2027–2031, authored by its candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo.
The presentation will take place at 2 p.m. on September 8, 2026, at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
The document outlines the party’s plans to tackle poverty, insecurity and other economic challenges while accelerating national development between 2027 and 2031.
The event is expected to attract political stakeholders, professionals, diplomats, civil society groups, the media and other Nigerians.
Adebayo is expected to explain how his administration would implement the blueprint if elected in 2027. The event will be hosted by SDP National Chairman, Professor Sadiq Abubakar Gombe.
The unveiling comes amid growing debate over poverty, unemployment, insecurity, inflation and declining purchasing power ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party’s invitation carries the message: “SDP… Progress! A New Nigeria is Possible.”
