Soname, Pinnick, Odegbami In Race For Interim NFF Presidency

The race for the interim presidency of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is gathering momentum following the reported resignation of NFF President Ibrahim Gusau.
Amid the emerging leadership vacuum, prominent football figures, including Kunle Soname, Amaju Pinnick and Segun Odegbami, are reportedly being considered for the interim position.

Sources indicate that the National Sports Commission (NSC) is favouring Soname, founder of Bet9ja and owner of Remo Stars, to take charge of the federation on an interim basis.
The development comes as stakeholders focus on ensuring stability and continuity in the administration of Nigerian football following Gusau’s reported resignation.

However, no official announcement has been made regarding the proposed interim leadership, with stakeholders awaiting further clarification from the relevant authorities.
