SDP’s Adebayo Salutes Former Kaduna Governor Makarfi At 70

 

 

..Hails Contributions To Democracy

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has congratulated former Kaduna State Governor and ex-PDP National Chairman, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, on his 70th birthday.

Adebayo described Makarfi as a seasoned statesman whose service in governance and politics has contributed to Nigeria’s democratic development.

In a message marking the milestone, he said the occasion offered a moment to reflect on Makarfi’s long career in public service, including his time as governor of Kaduna State and as PDP national chairman.

He noted that both roles placed Makarfi at key moments in Nigeria’s political history and earned him recognition as one of the country’s respected elder statesmen, saying “Reaching 70 is a remarkable milestone and a time to reflect on a life of service to our nation. I celebrate his contributions to democratic governance and public service”.

He added that Makarfi’s experience and institutional knowledge remain valuable to Nigeria’s pursuit of stability and good governance.
