Flamingos Head Coach, Akeem Ishola Busari, has invited 36 players to camp for the Nigeria U-17 girls’ team ahead of next month’s second-round qualifying fixture for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Nigeria will face the winner of the first-round clash between Niger Republic and Guinea. Niger Republic are set to host the first leg this weekend, with the return leg scheduled for next weekend in Conakry.

The winner of that tie will take on Nigeria in the second round, with the first leg slated for the weekend of May 22–24, while the Flamingos will host the return leg on May 30. Nigeria finished as bronze medallists at the 2022 edition of the tournament.
