Aregbesola’s Political Structure Weakened After My Exit- Former Osun SSG, Adeoti

Former Secretary to the Government of Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has claimed that following his exit from the political group of former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, the structure no longer had sufficient supporters to sustain it.

Adeoti made the disclosure during a live programme titled “So Kan Wa Special” on Agidigbo FM in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The former SSG stated that Aregbesola cannot dismiss his contributions when he was governor, adding that their electoral victories in Osun were result of collective efforts.

He revealed that monthly political meetings were previously held at Aregbesola’s residence in Ilesa, but claimed that since his departure from the camp, such meetings had not been held in the past three months — a development he said indicates that the structure had weakened.

Adeoti described Aregbesola as deceptive and not forthright, alleging that the former minister was fully aware of the significant roles they both played in their political journey.

The Iwo-born politician also said Aregbesola was aware of his governorship ambition but expressed disappointment over how events unfolded.

He added that despite their political differences, Aregbesola remains his political leader, noting that a conflict of interest prompted his decision to leave the group.
