Badagry Hosts Dignitaries For 9th-Day Spiritual Prayer of Late Akran, Wheno Aholu Menu-Toyi I

The ancient town of Badagry in Lagos State is today, Wednesday, set to host prominent personalities, including politicians, business leaders, and cultural and traditional enthusiasts, as the kingdom observes the 9th-day spiritual prayer for the late Akran of Badagry, Oba Babatunde Akran, Wheno Aholu Menu-Toyi I,

Officials of the Lagos State Government already present at the venue include the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. Layode Ibrahim; a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Badagry Constituency I, Hon. Bonu Solomon; the Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Hunpe; and the Commissioner, Lagos State Civil Service Commission, Hon. Yahaya Lateef.

Meanwhile, Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is expected to attend the historic event.
