Lagos APC 2027 governorship aspirant, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, has extended New Year greetings to Lagosians, describing 2026 as a year set to usher in renewed energy and fresh ideas for a more progressive Lagos State.
Reflecting on the outgoing year, JANDOR noted that 2025 witnessed deliberate and coordinated efforts by governments at both the federal and state levels to curb insecurity, stimulate economic growth and improve the ease of doing business.
According to him, these interventions have strengthened public confidence, supported enterprise and reinforced Lagos’ status as Nigeria’s economic hub.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for what he described as decisive leadership and reform-driven policies aimed at stabilising the economy and enhancing national security.
JANDOR also praised Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for sustaining people-centred governance, infrastructure development and policies that continue to position Lagos as a prime destination for investment and innovation.
He further lauded the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both national and state levels, describing the party as a stabilising force behind purposeful governance. He specifically commended the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and the Lagos State Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, for their strategic leadership, unity of purpose and commitment to strengthening internal democracy and effective governance.
Looking ahead to 2026, JANDOR assured Lagosians of a more prosperous year marked by improved security, expanded economic opportunities and inclusive growth. He reaffirmed his commitment to continuous engagement and contributions toward building a Lagos that is greater, more progressive and responsive to the aspirations of its people.
He urged residents to remain hopeful, united and supportive of policies and leadership efforts geared towards delivering sustainable development and shared prosperity.
