The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Mohammed Turaki SAN, has constituted a 19-man caretaker committee for the Cross Rivers State Chapter.
This was announced in a public notice issued on Wednesday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, ini Ememobong.
It read, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our Great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has, on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), pursuant to Section 29(2)(b) of our Constitution (2025 as amended), approved the re-appointment of the Caretaker Committee for Cross River State”.
Those appointed are; Rt (Hon) Bassey Eko Ewa (Chairman), Dr. Joe Ekpe Edet, Udie Mike, Dr. Lynne Bassey, Hon.Etim Okon, Barr. Ankot Cohbom, Ofana Raphael Odo, Dr. Onun Inyang Unoh, Barr. Ebaye Akunjom, Hon. Godswill Obindom, Barr.. Edem Ekong, Raymond Abo, Moses Bisuakefe and Barr. Agabi Dominic Oko.
Others include; Walter Nandi Esom, Ekpo Asuquo, Victor Erig Takon, Bassey Joseph Adim and Emmanuel Ekpe as Administrative Secretary.
“Accordingly, the Committee is charged with the responsibility of running the affairs of the Party in Cross River State, as stipulated in Section 21(2)(a-b) of our Party’s Constitution, for a period not exceeding 3-months or until such time as a new Executive shall be elected”, the statement read.
