South-West Stakeholders’ Dialogue: Lagos APC Applauds Regional Cooperation, Lauds Tinubu’s Visionary Legacy

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated political, traditional, and thought leaders from the South-West region for demonstrating renewed unity and cooperation during the recently concluded South-West Stakeholders’ Dialogue.

In a statement issued on Friday, the party’s spokesman, Seye Oladejo, described the convergence as a historic show of understanding and progressivism, saying it reaffirmed the region’s shared commitment to visionary leadership, regional integration, and sustainable development.

Oladejo said the dialogue, which brought together leaders across political divides, youth groups, and the corporate sector, went beyond partisanship to celebrate the South-West’s collective resolve for prosperity and good governance.

He noted that several key ministers from the region, particularly from the finance, energy, mineral resources, and marine and blue economy sectors, gave stewardship accounts and outlined a coordinated vision for regional and national growth.

Oladejo commended the courage and foresight of all participants, noting that their demonstration of unity across party lines and generations was a powerful lesson in leadership maturity, one that transcends personal ambition and political affiliations.”

The statement emphasized that the renewed bond among South-West leaders would enhance inter-state collaboration, promote regional development, and provide joint solutions to common socio-economic challenges.

The Lagos APC also urged other geo-political zones in the country to emulate the South-West by prioritizing dialogue and partnership over rivalry.

Reaffirming Lagos’s leadership role in the region, Oladejo said the state remains the heartbeat of the South-West and a living testimony of what visionary leadership and continuity of purpose can achieve.”

He restated the party’s loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing him as “a true son of the South-West whose legacy of inclusion, competence, and courage continues to inspire the region and the nation.”
