FRSC Lagos Sector Commander, Hamzat Receives Anti-Corruption Leadership Award

Lagos Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Commander, Kehinde Hamzat has been honoured by the Fight Against Corruption Organisation (FACO), a Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to eradicating corruption in Nigeria.
During a courtesy visit to the FRSC Lagos Sector headquarters, the Convener of FACO, Mr. Francis Shopekan, highlighted the organisation’s mission of partnering with government agencies to uproot corruption, raise public awareness, and promote transparency across all sectors.
Shopekan who presented the prestigious Anti-Corruption Leadership Award to the Sector Commander, said the award was in recognition of the unwavering commitment, integrity, transparency, and exemplary leadership of the Corps Commander in road safety and public service.
He specifically cited his remarkable track record as the Nigeria’s pioneer Corridor Commander of Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, where the Commander spearheaded decisive operations against one-way driving and successfully coordinated the dislodgement of gas-laden tankers in 2020 and 2021 without compromise.
In his remarks, the Sector Commander expressed profound appreciation for the recognition, describing the award as both a great honour and a call to greater responsibility.
He reaffirmed his dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards in service delivery, while continuing to promote professionalism, accountability, and public trust as Lagos Sector Commander.
