The governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has tasked the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) to ensure he commission delivers tangible results that directly improve the lives of the people in oil-producing communities.
Speaking at the reception organised by friends in honour of the OSOPADEC Chairman, Prince Biyi Poroye, the Governor emphasized the importance of effective service delivery, and visible impact in the discharge of the commission’s mandate.
Aiyedatiwa urged him to ensure that the people in the mandate areas feel the impact of the commission in every sector.
He expressed his confidence in the Chairman to deliver, urging other board members to support him in order to bring development to the people of the areas.
Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion, Victor Olabimtan, lauded the governor for his developmental strides and the appointment of Biyi Poroye as OSOPADEC chairman.
Olabimtan expressed his confidence that Prince Poroye would live up to expectation, describing him as a competent and transparent person.
In his remarks, Poroye appreciated the guests for turning up for the event, promising not to betray the confidence reposed in him as OSOPADEC Chairman.
