A former Chairman of Mushin local government, Sen. Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon GOS) has joined the membership of the highest political decision body in Lagos All Progressives Congress, Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).
It was learnt that Solomon, who served as Council Chairman between 1999 and 2002, was made member of the body due to his steadfastness, and ability to manage the political temperature of Mushin where he has been holding sway for the progressives for years.
A close source to the GAC, told NewsBeatng that the leadership of the body had for years been considering to make GOS member of the GAC before now, saying that he had been identified as the rally point of the Progressives in Mushin.
He represented Mushin federal constituency between 2003 and 2007 before representing Lagos West Senatorial District for eight years in the Senate where he served as Minority Whip.
