Senior Pastor of Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome has stripped his nephew, Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren from all official roles in the church for “act of gross misconduct.”
Oyakhilome made the announcement in a video, during a communion service of the church on Sunday, August 7th.
The suspension is coming following Daysman Oyakhilome’s affiliation with the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu..
Daysman was recently appointed as the global youth ambassador for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu support organization.
The appointment was met with disapproval and criticism from several Christian leaders and youth community.
Reacting to this, Pastor Oyakhilome said “The president of loveworld next and loveworld innovation, Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren, is hereby removed from being president of loveworld Next and loveworld innovation and suspended from all official roles for act of gross miscondiuct.
“So, he no longer handles any of that”.
