Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan have appointed experienced tactician Salisu Yusuf as the club’s new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The appointment comes shortly after the Oluyole Warriors parted ways with head coach Nurudeen Aweroro, bringing an end to his spell in charge of the Ibadan-based club.
Yusuf brings extensive experience in Nigerian football to the club, having previously managed several top clubs and served as coach of the Super Eagles.
The former Super Eagles gaffer is expected to deploy his wealth of experience and technical expertise as Shooting Stars prepare for another challenging NPFL campaign.
His immediate task will be to help the club build on its previous season’s performance and compete strongly for honours in the new campaign.
Yusuf’s arrival marks a new chapter for the Oluyole Warriors, with supporters hoping his appointment will bring greater stability, consistency and improved results to the team.
