The 2026/27 NPFL season kicks off on Friday, August 28, with Shooting Stars (3SC) hosting Inter Lagos in the opening South-West derby.
Fixtures were unveiled at the NPFL AGM in Ibadan.
Matchday One continues Sunday nationwide with key fixtures including Ikorodu City vs Ranchers Bees, Abia Warriors vs Kun Khalifat, Barau FC vs Nasarawa United, Rivers United vs Plateau United, and champions Rangers International hosting Katsina United. Other games include Kwara United vs Kano Pillars, Niger Tornadoes vs Enyimba, Bendel Insurance vs Warri Wolves, and Doma United vs Sporting Lagos.
The AGM, attended by league officials, club chairmen, and dignitaries including Segun Odegbami, Felix Owolabi, and Oyo Sports Commissioner Wasilat Adegoke, was chaired by NPFL boss Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye.
