Congo DR staged a stunning comeback to beat Uzbekistan 3-1 and reach the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 for the first time in their history.
Yoane Wissa scored twice and Fiston Mayele added the other as the Leopards advanced as one of the best third-placed teams.
Uzbekistan, already eliminated, led through Eldor Shomurodov’s 10th-minute finish after an early goal was ruled out for offside.
Congo DR had an equaliser disallowed before Wissa levelled from the penalty spot in the 68th minute.
Mayele then put Congo DR ahead with 10 minutes left, and Wissa sealed the win in stoppage time with a superb strike from the edge of the box.
They will face England in Atlanta on July 1.
