Super Falcons Open Camp Ahead Senegal Double-Header

 

The Super Falcons have commenced preparations for their upcoming international friendly matches against Senegal, with several players already arriving at the team’s training camp ahead of the double-header.

Nigeria’s senior women’s national team will take on Senegal in two friendly encounters scheduled for June 5 and June 8 at the Remo Stars Sports Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The matches form part of the team’s build-up for future international competitions and provide an opportunity for the coaching crew to assess players and fine-tune tactics.

Among the first players to report to camp were defenders Shukurat Oladipo and Kafayat Shittu, alongside veteran forward Asisat Oshoala, whose early arrival has boosted the atmosphere within the camp.

The presence of key players at the early stage of preparations underscores the team’s determination to make the most of the friendly fixtures as they continue their preparations for upcoming assignments.

More players are expected to join the camp in the coming days as Head Coach Justine Madugu begins full-scale training sessions ahead of the matches.
