Ndidi Ruled Out for Season with Hamstring Injury Blow

Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi is set to miss the remainder of the season following confirmation of a hamstring injury.

Medical scans revealed that the midfielder sustained a Grade 2 hamstring tear, which is expected to keep him sidelined for up to six weeks—effectively ruling him out for the rest of the Turkish Super Lig campaign.

Ndidi picked up the injury during last weekend’s heated derby clash against Fenerbahce, where he was forced off the pitch.

The setback was compounded by a booking in the same match, his fourth of the season, which has also earned him a one-match suspension.

The injury is a significant blow for Besiktas, who currently sit fourth in the league standings and are pushing to finish the season strongly.
