Tinubu Appoints Uba Sani Renewed Hope Ambassador, Deputy DG Ahead Of 2027 Elections

President Bola Tinubu has appointed the governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.

The appointment takes immediate effect and was announced on Tuesday in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Sani’s selection was in recognition of his leadership capacity and organisational experience.

According to the statement, the Kaduna State governor will work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope initiative and the party leadership—particularly the APC National Chairman—to foster unity, inclusiveness and strategic coordination at all levels of mobilisation and engagement.

The President stated that the new role is designed to galvanise support for the party’s policies and programmes, highlight its achievements, and strengthen public confidence ahead of future elections.

In a letter conveying the appointment, Tinubu said the objective is to ensure that citizens are well-informed about, understand and ultimately support the party and its candidates at all levels, as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.

He added that effective leadership and early planning would be crucial to securing broad national acceptance.
