OSOPADEC To Deepen Engagement With Traditional Institutions, Says Poroye

The Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Prince Olabiyi Olaleye Poroye, has acknowledged the pivotal roles played by the Council of Baales and Olojas in promoting community stability and grassroots development.
Prince Poroye expressed his appreciation while receiving the leadership of the Conference of Baales and Olojas from the Commission’s mandate areas during a courtesy visit to his office.
He described their support as “useful counsel of wisdom” that continues to contribute to the success of the intervention agency under his administration.

He noted that their advice would remain valuable in shaping the Commission’s policies, emphasizing the importance of maintaining positive public perception. Quoting scripture, he said, “Let your moderation be known unto all men,” and prayed for divine grace to fully deliver on his plans for the oil-producing region.
The General Chairman of the Council, Chief Adebowale Bamigbose JP, congratulated Prince Poroye on his appointment and urged him to make a lasting impact in office, adding that “a good name is better than silver and gold.” He also appealed for improved welfare for Baales and Olojas across the mandate areas.
Also present at the meeting were the Executive Director, Finance, Malam Mallon Ogbaro; the Director of Administration and Supplies, Ap. Sola Orisamoluwa; the Director of Community Welfare, Comr. Kayode Ebiseni; aides to the Chairman; and other top management staff.
