Two suspected motorcycle robbers have been apprehended by officers of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Olorunda Command at Isanmo, Ilogbo.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, when the suspects, who posed as genuine passengers, were intercepted by the vigilant LNSC officers after attempting to dispossess a commercial motorcyclist of his bike. Their suspicious behaviour drew the attention of the patrol team, leading to their immediate arrest.
Following this, the suspects have been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Morogbo Division, for further investigation and possible prosecution.
Confirming the incident, the General Manager, Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency, (LNSA) Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan commended the swift response of the Olorunda Command officers, emphasizing the agency’s enduring commitment to community safety, and the protection of residents across Lagos state.
