The Ondo State Government has announced plans to commence the disbursement of scholarships, bursaries, and financial assistance to indigenes of the state currently studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Ministry of Education and signed by Bisi Lawani.
According to the Administrative Secretary of the Ondo State Scholarship Board, Mrs. Funso Tunji-Omoniyi, the official flag-off ceremony will hold on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Cocoa Conference Hall, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure.
She explained that the initiative aligns with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s “Our Ease” agenda, aimed at strengthening partnerships, promoting quality education, and improving learning outcomes across the state.
The ministry urged representatives of student bodies to attend the event, noting that all invited guests are expected to be seated by 9:00 a.m. ahead of the programme’s commencement at 10:00 a.m.
