Rotary Club Confers Honorary Membership On Edesili Anani, Citing Her Passion For Women, Children

The Coordinator of the Edo State Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, has joined hands with network of professionals, receiving an honorary membership of the Rotary Club of Benin Metropolitan in recognition of her excellent performance in community service and commitment to making positive impact in the State.
This was revealed by the Rotary Club of Benin Metropolitan (RTN) President, Elizabeth Ativie, while conferring the membership status on Anani at the Government House, Benin City.
She also disclosed that as an honorary member, Anani would join a global network of professionals dedicated to serving humanity, amplifying Rotary’s impact in Edo State, expressing the Club’s eagerness to strengthen ties the first lady.
Ativie noted, “Today’s investiture is not just symbolic. We are confident that your influence, passion, and dedication will amplify the reach and impact of Rotary Projects in Edo State, particularly in areas close to your hearts, women, children, widows, and underserved”.
Expressing deep appreciation for the honour and humanitarian efforts of the Club, Anani emphasized the impact of individual contributions to community progress, stating “Thank you for this award. As a servant leader, I believe true leadership is about serving others. I am excited to partner with like-minded individuals on projects that benefit Edo State”.
Anani also expressed readiness to collaborate on initiatives like the Widows Programme, where they can make meaningful impact together, pledging her support for the Rotary Club’s efforts.
