PDP Leaders Arrive Party Secretariat For 102 NEC Meeting

Some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have arrived at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja for its 102nd National Executive Committee meeting.
In a post on its facebook page on Monday, the PDP said the NEC would deliberate on key issues, including the report of the National Zoning Committee and preparations for the party’s national convention slated for November 15–16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The atmosphere at the secretariat was charged, with members singing and cheering as party chieftains arrived for the session, which is seen as part of the PDP’s renewed effort to reposition itself ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“Today’s meeting reflects the PDP’s shared vision and determination to deliver for Nigerians in 2027,” the party stated.
Those expected at the meeting are governors, former ministers, and other prominent figures, including the party’s former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Bode George and former Minister of Information, Prof. Jerry Gana.
