Adebayo Mourns Buhari, Consoles Family

The leader and 2023 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo has joined Nigerian leaders to mourn the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, expressing condolences to the family.
Buhari died at age 82 in a London clinic, after a brief illness. He, firstly ruled Nigeria as Military Head of State from December 1983 to January 1985. Buhari later governed the country as a democratic leader for 8years after winning the presidential election in 2015 and 2019.
Adebayo, in a tweet via his verified X handle, on Sunday, prayed for the repose of the former president.
He said ” I profoundly mourn the passing of our former President and General, Muhammad Buhari GCFR who died today in London UK. I offer prayers of comfort to his family and all Nigerians.
“I pray for Allah SWT to forgive him all his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, Ameen Summa Ameen”.
