…. meets party stakeholders in Ondo
Former Osun State Governor and Interim National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has begun to rally support for the party in Southwest.
It would be recalled that Aregbesola few days ago on arrival from the Abuja meeting, landed in Lagos where he was welcomed by ADC members in the state.
Also, the 2023 governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour reportedly held a meeting with Aregbesola.
However, in a post on his facebook page on Thursday, Aregbesola who is a former Minister of Interior, disclosed that he had begun the South West mobilisation strategy meetings with a visit to the ADC stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers in Ondo state.
Aregbesola said “We thank the great people of Ondo State and the leaders of the opposition coalition in the state for receiving me warmly as I begin the South West mobilisation strategy meetings, starting with a visit to stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers in Ondo State.
“The ADC represents a principled stand– to put the people. People First at the centre of government and politics.
“Our goal is to bring a people-friendly government and people-friendly politics that truly place the people at the heart of governance”.
