Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates from various political parties for the July 12 local government elections in Lagos State have begun the presentation of their credentials for verification at the State’s Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) office in Yaba.
The exercise which started on Thursday would end on Monday.
Confirming the commencement of the exercise, the chairman of LASIEC, Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile (retd.), said it would last for a few days as the state prepares for the July poll.
According to LASIEC, 15 political parties out of 19 would be participating in the election.
