Eno Storms Ikot Abasi For Town Square Meeting, Empowerment Series

 

The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, would be visiting Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency for Town Square meetings and empowerment series on Wednesday.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh posted on his facebook page.

The statement disclosed that the event would begin at 2pm, and is part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to stay connected to the grassroots, listen to the people, and bring direct impact through empowerment and developmental support.

” Speaking on the significance of the Governor’s upcoming meeting, a frontline entrepreneur from the area and the Managing Director of Hensek Integrated Services, Engr. Uwem Okoko, expressed deep appreciation for the Governor’s commitment to infrastructure and humanitarian development.

“He commended the numerous roads, health facilities and schools remodeling projects and the compassionate housing initiatives—both ongoing and completed within the federal constituency as unquantifiable in value and impact.

” Speaking ahead of the visit, the Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof. Eno Ibanga, described the Governor’s visit to the federal constituency as both symbolic and deeply personal.

“This edition of the Town Square Meeting will not only serve as a platform for robust dialogue between the government and the governed but will also feature a major empowerment session, offering critical support to traders, artisans, farmers, youth, and women groups across the federal constituency”.

He further praised the governor’s consistency and results-oriented leadership, referring to him as “a man with the finisher’s anointing.”
