As part of its continued commitment to advancing education and fostering innovation among young science students in Nigeria, NNPC Ltd. has commenced the donation of 25,000 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) books and shelves to twenty-five secondary schools across Nigeria.
The flag-off ceremony took place at the School for The Gifted in Gwagwalada, FCT, Abuja, and will continue in selected secondary schools across the country.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, Emmanuella Arukwe, said the initiative reflects the Company’s commitment to enhancing STEM education and inspiring young minds to explore the world of science, technology and innovation as well as nurturing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators who will drive Nigeria’s technological and economic growth.
