The Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has clarified that Higher National Diploma (HND) part time graduates were not eligible to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Alausa in a statement issued by the Director of Press and Public Relations Federal Ministry of Education, Boriowo Folashade, said only full time HND graduates could participate in the NYSC and that they could proceed with their mobilisation.
He added that to facilitate seamless process, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) had been directed to collate data for eligible HND graduates.
Alausa stated that a circular alsi had been sent to all Rectors of Polytechnics to upload necessary data of graduates to the newly created HND admission portal.
