Former Governor of Katsina State, Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema, has defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shema announced this on Thursday (Today) after meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.
The former governor was accompanied by the incumbent governor of the State, Umar Dikko Radda.
Shema, who previously served as governor under the PDP, has now moved to the APC, a decision that is expected to have implications for the political landscape in Katsina State and beyond.
