President Bola Tinubu has intervened in the political crisis in Rivers State.
Tinubu is currently in discussion with Minister Nyesom Wike and governor Sim Fubara to restore peace in the state.
Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed made this known on Tuesday while addressing journalists after the maiden Police Council meeting under the Tinubu administration.
Meanwhile, Fubara and Wike were present at the meeting, which also confirmed Kayode Egbtokun as the substantive Inspector General of Police.
