President Tinubu Hosts Edo Governor-Elect Okpebholo At Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is currently hosting the Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

Okpebholo, who emerged victorious in the recent Edo State gubernatorial election, was accompanied to the meeting by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and several APC governors.

In attendance were key party figures, including the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma (Imo), and other prominent APC governors, such as Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi), and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).

Notably, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who represents Edo North Senatorial District, and Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu were also present at the meeting.

The gathering comes shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Okpebholo the winner of the Edo governorship election, held on Saturday.

Many of his supporters have said victory solidifies the APC’s hold in Edo State and sets the stage for his upcoming administration.
