Former Minister of Finance, Senator Nenadi Usman, has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party (LP).
The decision was made on Wednesday during the Labour Party’s extended stakeholders meeting held at the Banquet Hall of the Abia State Government House in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State.
Usman, who defected to the LP during the 2023 general elections, now heads a caretaker committee comprising 29 members.
She was previously elected as the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District in the April 2011 elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
