The people of Egba extraction in Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria, on Saturday gathered in Abeokuta for the 2025 Lisabi Festival to celebrate and honor their legendary hero, Lisabi Agbongbo Akala.
Historically, Lisabi Agbongbo Akala was a fearless liberator whose legacy continues to unite Egba sons and daughters from around the world.
This year’s celebration, themed Ègbáliganza 2025, merged cultural pride with modern flair.
The grand finale dazzled with glamorous fashion displays featuring traditional Ofi, Adire, and Afrocentric designs.
