A new Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been appointed for the state by the Inspector-General of police, Mr Alkali Usman Baba.
Alabi will take over from Mr Hakeem Odumosu who would retire by end of January.
The officer is Mr Abiodun Sylvester Alabi. He is the immediate past Commissioner of police for Bauchi state.
Alabi was a Squadron commander of many years. Also DPO for Lion Building and Ikeja police stations.
