Ondo Reaffirms Commitment to Partners, Vows Sustained Support for Education Sector

The Ondo State Government has promised to continue its support to local and international partners working within the education sector for them to be productive and impactful.
The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, gave the assurance when a delegation from the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Kids and Teens Resource Centre including its foreign partner, Mrs. Emilie Klein, visited him in Akure.
In his welcome address, Prof. Ajibefun commended the NGO for its significant work in the State and the noble vision it pursues, particularly appreciating the organization for aligning its outreaches with the educational development policy of the state’s Governor.
Prof. Ajibefun further assured the delegation of the government’s constant support and partnership with various educational development organizations in the State, calling on other potential partners to join the state in its mission to transform the education landscape.
Speaking earlier, Mrs. Klein, accompanied by the Nigerian Chief Executive Officer for Kids and Teens Resource Centre, Mr. Martins Mary Falana, expressed profound gratitude to the Commissioner and the Ondo State Government, thanking them for creating a conducive and supportive environment for their organization to operate within the State.
Mrs. Klein stated that the goal of her NGO is to contribute meaningfully to education development in the State by Improving access to education, especially for children in rural communities, building schools and providing essential educational support and partnering with the government to reduce school dropout rates and ensure every child has access to quality education.
